Ari graduated from Yeshiva University with a bachelor’s degree in International Business and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Ari originally began his career with The Grand as a marketing professional for The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Queens. He then successfully took on the role of Director of Adult Day Healthcare at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at River Valley. After acquiring his administrator's license, he took on the role of Assistant Administrator at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Queens. He has now returned, bringing with him a wide range of experience in dealing with the diverse departments within the facility. Ari has been an active volunteer firefighter with the Nassau County Fire Department since 2008 and he has also volunteered with the New York Police Department. Ari has a passion for working with the elderly population and lives in Queens with his wife Dina.
Director of Nursing
Teresa Dirac is the Director of Nursing at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at River Valley and she has been with The Grand for several years. Teresa earned an AAS degree from Philadelphia Community College and took courses at Lasalle University towards her BSN. Teresa initially worked as a nurse at the Albert Einstein Hospital in the Step Down unit and then moved on to become a Nurse Manager position of a medical/rehab/telemetry unit at Freedman Hospital/Philadelphia Geriatric Center. Upon relocating to Ulster County, she became a Nurse Manager of a Ventilator Unit at a skilled nursing facility. Teresa enjoys immensely working with the residents of The Grand and she prides herself on consistently ensuring that she and her team provide the highest quality level of care.
Director of Admissions
Roseann Sellers, Director of Admissions, has been with The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at River Valley since April of 2004. After graduating from SUNY New Paltz, Roseann began her career in the nursing home field in 1987 as the Director of Social Work at the Hudson Valley Nursing Center. She eventually transitioned into the financial and admission processes in health care before becoming the Director of Admissions at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at River Valley nine years ago. Roseann and her family live in New Paltz where she is very dedicated to serving the needs of the elderly, volunteering her time with area professionals in order to provide case management services to adults who want to safely plan for healthy aging. Roseann, her son and her daughter are very passionate supporters of the Alzheimer’s Association of Hudson Valley and participate annually in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s as well as taking the polar plunge as Sub Zero Heroes.
Director of Rehabilitation
Valerie Tucci, OTRL, is the Director of Rehabilitation at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at River Valley. For five years, Valerie held the same position at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Pawling and has 15 years of experience in long term care. A 1999 graduate of Utica College of Syracuse University who holds a bachelor's in occupational therapy, Valerie’s skills, compassion and team approach make her a favorite among both her patients and her colleagues.
Director of Social Work
Tish Mosiello, Director of Social Work, transferred from The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Pawling to join the team at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at River Valley in November 2014. Tish comes to the facility with many years’ experience in both the acute and long term care settings. A 1989 graduate of Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry with a bachelor's in social work, Tish earned her master’s in social work from Columbia University in 1990. Tish, who has two adult married children and a granddaughter, enjoys spending time at home with her husband and mother.
